In light of the ongoing information and guidance being issued by the UK government, Datateam Business Media has taken the decision to postpone the upcoming BKU Awards, which was due to take place on Friday 19 June at London’s Grosvenor House.

While social distancing restrictions have been eased, strict regulations are still in place when it comes to public gatherings that are unlikely to be lifted ahead of the scheduled date of the BKU Awards.

Event director Carl Hearnden comments: “The BKU Awards have been proudly serving the KBB industry for half a decade and, while we were looking forward to another incredible afternoon of celebration, there are still strict instructions in place when it comes to mass gatherings which we must follow in the best interests of our attendees and staff.

“We have continued to monitor the situation closely and have been making preparations for alternative routes that we can take to deliver an event that honours the BKU Awards ethos while safeguarding all involved. We look forward to sharing further details on this in the coming weeks.”

“Of course, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the BKU Awards’ incredible sponsors for their continued support and express my gratitude to everyone involved in the scheme for their patience as we navigate these uncharted waters.”

Tickets that have been purchased for the original date will be honoured for any rescheduled date. If you have any queries regarding the postponement of the BKU Awards, please contact Carl Hearnden at chearnden@datateam.co.uk.
